The world's first wideband, bidirectional digital wireless ecosystem.
View range
The future of wireless pro audio is here — and it's bidirectional.
We supply Spectera, the world's first wideband, bidirectional digital wireless ecosystem, offering up to 64 channels (32 in / 32 out) in a single unit.
It's a genuine step-change in capability and flexibility for audio professionals, with 11 Audio Link modes giving you precise control over latency and audio quality for each link, and bidirectional bodypacks that handle in-ear monitor and mic/line signals simultaneously.
Unified wireless control
Bidirectional wireless ecosystem; audio and control data travel together on a single RF carrier.
Bidirectionality
Bidirectional SEK bodypack: handles IEM and mic/line signals at the same time.
Transceiving antennas
Transceiving antennas handle IEM, mic/line, and data signals simultaneously — giving full remote control and monitoring of bodypack links, IEM volume, audio levels, settings, RF health, battery, and more.
Single RF carrier
Sennheiser WMAS technology fits an entire production into a single wideband RF carrier (6/8 MHz).
Integrated RF components
Built-in RF components in the DAD antenna mean no extra combiners, splitters, or boosters.
Enhanced dropout resistance
Sennheiser WMAS technology makes it far more resistant to RF fade dropouts than traditional narrowband systems — equal to 40× diversity (8 MHz) / 30× diversity (6 MHz).
Comprehensive software tools
Use SoundBase across multiple systems, or Spectera WebUI for a single system.
64-channel base station
1 RU base station delivers up to 64 channels (32 in / 32 out), with up to two independent wideband RF carriers in UHF or 1G4 (6 or 8 MHz).
Built to grow: planned future releases and further hardware and software updates.
11 Audio Link modes let you control audio quality, latency, channel count, and operating range.
The whole system runs on signature Sennheiser digital audio quality — including IEMs — with latency as low as 0.7 milliseconds.
Built-in redundancy: power supply, Dante, MADI (optional), and up to four antennas.
Sennheiser WMAS technology means no more frequency coordination hassle.
Spectera’s space-saving 1 RU base station features flexible digital I/O with redundant Dante and optional redundant MADI, for straightforward integration into your audio network.
Spectera’s transceiving antennas manage IEM, mic/line, and data signals simultaneously. Connect up to four antennas for redundancy, extended zone coverage, or additional spectrum capacity.
Spectera’s simultaneous 32 I/O gives you the flexibility for wireless mic, instrument, and in-ear monitoring applications, all in a single system.
Configurations are fully flexible — up to 32 mic/line channels and 16 stereo IEMs for talent on stage, or 32 interruptible foldback (IFB) channels across your crew.
With Spectera’s bidirectional bodypacks, you get far more control and far fewer blind spots. Each Spectera SEK bodypack manages an in-ear monitor and a mic/line input signal at the same time. And with Spectera WebUI and SoundBase software, you get full remote control and monitoring of everything: IEM volume, audio level and settings, RF health, battery status, and more.
So you spend more time in control and less time managing components and chasing problems. For in-ear monitors, Spectera delivers RF performance and stability on par with digital wireless microphones — along with excellent IEM clarity and accuracy, and ultra-low latency down to 0.7 milliseconds.
At the heart of Spectera is Sennheiser’s wireless multichannel audio technology (WMAS), whose modulation and multiplexing make Spectera far more resistant to dropout and RF fading than narrowband systems.
Spectera also features built-in redundancy where it matters most: redundant power supplies, redundant Dante and optional redundant MADI audio I/O, and the ability to connect multiple antennas for redundancy, extra zone coverage, or extra spectrum capacity.
