The D20 is a passive, compact 3-way speaker system, designed specifically for small to medium installations where high-quality sound, extended low frequencies, and precise dispersion control are essential.

True Full Range Performance.

At its core, the D20 features a 12” ultra-low-distortion driver capable of covering frequencies from 35 Hz to 400 Hz.

• A 3” voice coil with a 32 mm height ensures 22 mm peak-to-peak excursion while maintaining consistent magnetic force.
• Three aluminium shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion, minimise thermal compression, and improve sound quality.
• This sophisticated design results in a tight, punchy bass response, far superior to traditional subwoofer systems.

Unmatched Coherency.

The D20’s custom-engineered 8”/1.75” coaxial driver is the key to its superior sound quality.

• The 8” midrange driver handles frequencies from 200 Hz to 1800 Hz with remarkable efficiency and a linear response
• The high-frequency driver features an ultra-lightweight 1.75” diaphragm, delivering exceptional transient response from 1 kHz to 20 kHz.
• This innovative design radiates a coherent 90° wavefront, ensuring smooth, high-fidelity sound with precise dispersion.

Controlled Dispersion at High SPL.

The D20 achieves seamless overlap between low and mid frequencies (200–400 Hz) and mid and high frequencies (1–1.8 kHz).

This overlap enhances the maximum SPL while maintaining excellent directivity control, ensuring consistent sound quality even at high volume levels.

Integrated System Solution.

The D20 is designed to work exclusively with CODA Audio’s dedicated DSP amplifiers, providing an integrated solution for DSP control, amplification, remote network management, and diagnostics. This pairing guarantees optimal performance and system protection.

Customisation Options.

The D20 is available in additional colours and with weather-resistant finishes, allowing for tailored solutions to fit any environment.

Applications.

Ideal for small to medium installations where extended low-frequency performance is needed without the use of subwoofers. Remarkably, two D20 units can produce the same low-frequency output as a single 18” subwoofer, making it a powerful and space-saving alternative.
