The GeNetix GN10 is a versatile multipurpose node designed for seamless remote data distribution across a range of applications, including support for Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene.
This universal interface is fully compatible with Art-Net, sACN, RDM, and, like all GeNetix nodes, is easily configurable via ChamSys consoles, its built-in web server, or the unit's onboard display. Its DMX ports are fully adaptable, functioning as either DMX inputs or outputs, with adjustable DMX timings for enhanced flexibility. With dual network ports, the GN10 can be powered via PoE or through its powerCON TRUE1 mains input, ensuring reliable operation in any setup.
The GN10’s robust design makes it suitable for a variety of environments—whether used as a standalone interface, truss-mounted with its M12 receiver, or rack-mounted with its included rack ears.
Featuring LTC and MIDI ports, the GN10 provides Timecode and MIDI note input/output to MagicQ systems over ChamNet. It also supports Art-Net Timecode, making it compatible with any system supporting this functionality—perfect for scenarios where the Timecode or MIDI source is located away from the console.
When connected to MagicQ PC Systems via USB, the GeNetix GN10 unlocks Full Unlocked Mode, acting as a DMX interface and a gateway for Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene. This transforms systems running on Linux, Mac, or PC into fully-featured MagicQ setups. Additionally, when used as an Art-Net/sACN node, the GN10 unlocks up to two MagicQ instances via the network.
