For situations requiring small, lightweight, and discreet microphones, the ultra-compact 4006ER/ES delivers clean, transparent sound with an integrated active cable design. The microphone offers side cable entry (4006ES) or rear cable entry (4006ER) for flexible installation.
These omnidirectional condensers are especially well-suited for A-B stereo or Decca Tree configurations in concert halls. Included with the microphone is the SM4000 Suspension Mount, allowing it to be ceiling-mounted for precise spot-miking of orchestral sections or ambient sound.
Ideal for theatres, opera houses, concert halls, and houses of worship, the 4006ER/ES also excels in film production, both in-studio and on location. Additionally, it is popular for capturing ambient sound on soundstages, in sports stadiums, and other environments where high-quality environmental recordings are required.
