The GLP impression X5 Compact is powered by seven high-performance 40W RGBL LEDs, delivering impressive output with an expanded colour gamut. GLP’s iQ.Gamut calibration technology ensures precise colour accuracy, producing clean white light with a CRI of 90 at 6,500 K and allowing instant switching between calibrated fixed colour temperatures along the black body line.
Featuring ultra-fast zoom mechanics, the X5 Compact offers a wide 16:1 zoom range from 3.6° to 66°, maintaining smooth, homogeneous light distribution throughout. A newly designed circular front face provides a modern aesthetic, with a round aperture and integrated geometric elements for striking pixel-mapping effects.
The fixture includes a comprehensive feature set, such as a virtual colour wheel with 64 LEE filter references, advanced colour quality control, magenta/green correction, tungsten simulation, an effects channel, and dual-layer effect capabilities.
Built around GLP’s signature baseless design, the impression X5 Compact weighs just 7.5 kg (16.6 lbs) and supports the use of static front accessories. Control is available via DMX, Art-Net, or sACN, with setup made easy through Near Field Control.
