The GLP X4 atom has been designed from the ground up to deliver maximum versatility in an exceptionally compact form. Small enough to integrate discreetly into the tightest spaces, yet powerful enough to provide impressive coverage, the X4 atom is an ideal everyday fixture for static lighting applications.
From television and film to corporate events, set lighting, special events, concert touring, truss systems, and architectural installations, the X4 atom feels at home in virtually any environment.
At its core is the same high-output RGBW quad-colour LED engine used throughout the GLP X4 range, producing a bright, full-spectrum output that belies the fixture’s compact size. Despite its small footprint, the X4 atom features an impressive 9:1 zoom range, delivering anything from a wide 34° wash to a tight 3.5° beam. This unique capability allows for pinpoint precision, strong mid-air effects, and clean, evenly distributed colour and intensity—something rarely found in fixtures of this size.
Versatility extends beyond optics. The X4 atom is fully IP65 rated, making it suitable for year-round use in both indoor and outdoor environments. When a single fixture isn’t enough, GLP’s innovative interlock system allows multiple X4 atoms to be quickly and securely connected.
The standard hanging yoke can be easily removed, enabling fast assembly of pairs, quads, lines, or grid configurations in virtually any layout. Each atom head remains individually controllable, opening up a wide range of creative possibilities and dynamic visual effects.
Power is supplied via an external power unit using industry-standard 4-pin XLR colour changer cables, allowing the X4 atom to integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructure while reducing environmental impact by avoiding unnecessary duplication of internal power components.
