The LA12X is a four-channel amplified controller designed to drive the largest loudspeakers in the L-Acoustics range. Equipped with a proprietary switch-mode power supply (SMPS) and DSP-controlled power factor correction (PFC), it delivers an impressive 12,000 watts of output power with exceptional hold times.
Global Compatibility and Efficiency.
The universal SMPS (100–240 V) ensures consistent performance worldwide, while the PFC enhances tolerance to unstable mains power and reduces energy consumption. Its 4 x 4 architecture provides the versatility to power a high density of passive loudspeakers or deliver robust amplification for large-format active enclosures.
Advanced Features in a Compact Design.
Housed in a compact 2U chassis, the LA12X includes powerful DSP capabilities, built-in loudspeaker optimisation tools, and the proprietary L-DRIVE system for speaker and controller protection. It supports analog, AES/EBU, and AVB inputs, with seamless redundancy using the Milan-AVB protocol, ensuring reliable operation for professional audio systems.
