The HA-8091 Domed Helical Antenna delivers exceptional, drop-out-free RF performance for in-ear monitoring (IEM), wireless microphone systems, and intercoms.
Part of a new generation of high-performance antennas, it offers wider bandwidth, extended range, superior reliability, and far more flexibility than traditional whip-style options. While standard antennas transmit and receive in a single fixed polarisation, the HA-8091 uses a circular RF field that covers all polarisation angles. This dramatically reduces the risk of signal drop-outs and ensures consistent, high-gain performance.
In typical live environments, performers often rely on 1/4-wave whip antennas with fixed polarisation. As the artist moves, the angle of the device changes, increasing the chance of polarisation shifts and RF dropouts. The HA-8091 eliminates this issue by rotating RF energy through a full 360°, delivering stable, crystal-clear audio to IEM packs and wireless mic receivers—no matter where performers move on stage.
Ideal for large-scale events and complex wireless setups, the HA-8091 ensures reliable communication even when it's impossible to control the positioning or orientation of transmitters and receivers. It can be used for both transmission and reception, offering outstanding performance in either role.
