The UltraStudio 4K Mini is a compact, portable capture and playback device featuring the latest broadcast technology. Equipped with 12GSDI, HDMI 2.0, and analogue connections, it supports broadcast-quality 8, 10, and 12-bit HDR capture across all formats — from SD up to 4K DCI at 60fps. Its built-in SD card reader lets you mount camera media directly to your computer for instant editing.

Whether on-set or in post-production, UltraStudio delivers broadcast and digital cinema quality capture and playback to suit any workflow. Ideal for editing, colour grading, VFX, live capture, and on-set monitoring, it supports the latest HDR formats and high-end broadcast displays. You can even feed SDI fill and key from RGB graphics straight from your computer to a live production switcher for advanced live broadcast graphics keying.

Connect to virtually any video device with UltraStudio’s extensive input and output options. Every model features SDI in/out, HDMI output for monitors and projectors, plus analogue YUV/NTSC/PAL video and balanced analogue input for archiving from legacy tape decks. Dual SDI outputs can switch to fill and key modes. Video reference input ensures sync with broadcast systems, alongside RS-422 remote control. The 4K Mini and Extreme models add an extra HDMI input and balanced analogue audio out for in-studio monitoring.

Featuring cutting-edge 12G-SDI, the UltraStudio 4K Mini handles Ultra HD and 4K 60p capture/playback over a single BNC cable. Multi-rate 12G-SDI ensures backward compatibility with your existing SD and HD kit, while future-proofs your workflow for up to 2160p60. Dual-link outputs enable stereoscopic or simultaneous fill and key up to 2160p30 in real time.
