At the heart of the HOPS8i is a dual 8" coaxial system, combining a primary 8"/1.75" coaxial driver and an additional low-frequency (LF) driver. Together, they deliver:
- 450 W power handling: Ample output for demanding applications.
- Smooth and powerful bass: The 8" cone covers frequencies from 60 Hz to 1.5 kHz with incredible efficiency and a linear response.
- Reduced distortion: Advanced design features like aluminium shorting rings minimise intermodulation distortion and thermal compression, ensuring deep, punchy bass with pristine clarity.
Crystal-Clear High Frequencies.
The ultra-lightweight 1.75" annular diaphragm in the high-frequency driver offers exceptional transient response and efficiency, covering frequencies from 1 kHz to 20 kHz. This advanced driver design produces a coherent 100° wavefront, delivering superior dispersion control and high-fidelity sound with transparent clarity.
Integrated Amplification & Control.
