The SCV-F stands out with its ability to produce time-aligned audio in the 35–100 Hz range and slightly increased group delay in the 25–35 Hz range. The result? Exceptionally accurate, musical low frequencies with superior sound quality compared to traditional port-loaded systems.
Powerful 18 Driver with Velocity Sensor.
At the heart of the SCV-F is an 18 long-excursion neodymium driver that delivers:
- Flat frequency response down to 25 Hz (-6 dB)
- Ultra-low distortion, even at high outputs
- Built-in velocity sensor technology
The velocity sensor continuously measures the voice coil’s movement, transmitting data to the Comparator via an XLR cable. The Comparator analyzes the input signal and the movement data, dynamically adjusting amplifier voltage and current to minimize Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) by up to 90%. This ensures precise diaphragm motion for pristine audio fidelity.

The SCV-F operates in both cardioid and omnidirectional modes, making it ideal for a range of applications. While it was designed as the perfect low-frequency extension for CODA’s ViRAY line arrays, it excels in both touring and fixed installations where compact size, controlled bass, and outstanding sound quality are essential.
