Designed specifically for professional live performance, the d:facto™ Vocal Series delivers exceptional clarity and control on any stage — from intimate venues to major concert arenas.
This premium handheld condenser microphone offers the benefits of a traditional supercardioid pattern, including excellent side and rear rejection (minimum 9 dB attenuation), helping keep vocals clean and focused. However, unlike many supercardioids, the d:facto™ Series avoids the problematic high-frequency rear lobe that often causes feedback with stage monitors.
With a wider, more natural acceptance angle at the front of the mic — matching a classic cardioid pattern at ±60° off-axis — performers enjoy a comfortable working area without sacrificing precision. The result is the workability of a cardioid microphone combined with exceptionally uniform rejection around the capsule, making it ideal for loud stages and demanding vocal performances.
