The BSS BLU-50 is a compact half-rack digital signal processor offering 4 inputs and 4 outputs, built-in BLU link connectivity, and flexible configuration options—ideal for small to mid-sized AV installations.
Despite its small footprint, the BLU-50 delivers professional-grade performance, with support for configurable audio and logic processing. It can be powered via the included 12V DC adapter, 12–48V DC through a terminal block, or conveniently via PoE+ using a single Cat5e cable—allowing power, control, configuration, and monitoring over Ethernet.

- Software-controlled input gain (up to +48dB in 6dB steps)
- Selectable Phantom Power per channel
- Front panel LEDs for Phantom Power, Signal Present, and Clip indication—no PC required
- BLU link digital audio bus: 48-channel, low-latency, fault-tolerant over Cat5e (100m) or single-mode fibre (10km+ with media converters)
- HiQnet Audio Architect™ compatible for configuration and control
- Fully interoperable with the Soundweb London range: including BLU-800, BLU-320, BLU-160, BLU-120, BLU-BIB, and BLU-BOB
The BLU-50 also includes 12 Control Inputs, 6 Logic Outputs, and an RS-232 port, making it easy to integrate with external control systems and automation platforms.
