The Meyer Sound UPA-2P is a highly regarded, compact self-powered loudspeaker renowned for its pristine vocal clarity, precise polar response, and exceptional power output. Its narrow 45° × 45° coverage pattern makes it ideal for tightly focused sound reinforcement.
- Self-Powered Design: Eliminates the need for external amplifier racks and long speaker cable runs. It features an integrated bi-amplified Class AB/bridged amplifier delivering 700 watts of total peak power with built-in active crossovers and protection circuitry.
- Narrow Coverage Horn: Features a symmetrical 45° × 45° Constant-Q horn, allowing the speaker to be oriented either horizontally or vertically while maintaining uniform and predictable coverage.
- Exceptional Fidelity: Incorporates phase-corrected electronics that yield extraordinarily flat amplitude and phase responses, resulting in tonal accuracy and precise stereo imaging.
- Transducer Complement: Equipped with one heavy-duty 12-inch cone low-frequency driver and a 3-inch diaphragm compression driver.
- Rigorous Build & Rigging: Housed in a durable, multi-ply birch trapezoidal enclosure with a textured black finish. It features standard ring and stud pan fittings for flexible flying and installation.
- Optional RMS Integration: Can be equipped with Meyer Sound's Remote Monitoring System (RMS), which allows you to track system parameters (driver/amp status, limiters, temperature) from a Windows PC.
