The Midas XL4 is widely regarded as one of the finest analogue live performance consoles ever built. With 48 pristine mic inputs, legendary Midas EQ, comprehensive routing, and extensive automation, it was designed for the most demanding touring, theatre, and broadcast applications. Built on the proven XL3 foundation, the XL4 takes sonic excellence and flexibility to an entirely new level.

- Hi-Z Line Inputs: Dedicated line-level inputs with gain control, ideal for playback devices.
- Midas EQ: Classic 4-band EQ with fully parametric mids and shelving bass/treble response.
- Channel Inserts: Balanced send/return with pre/post EQ switching.
- Input Metering: Peak meters with 60dB range in 3dB steps, switchable between signal points.
- Extensive Audio Bussing: 42 busses including 16 mono aux, 8 stereo aux, 16 stereo groups, and 2 stereo masters.
- VCA & Mute Groups: 10 motorised VCA faders and 8 mute masters per channel.
- Group Aux Inputs: 16 additional inputs with EQ, routable to groups/masters, VCA controllable.
- Master Section: L/R outputs, mono out, 4 record outputs, and dedicated metering.
- Matrix Section: 18 x 8 matrix derived from groups and master outputs.
- Output Metering: 28 peak-reading meters across groups, matrix, masters, and local outs.
- Automation: Snapshot recall, audio-follow-video capability, and full AFL/PFL access.
- Moving Faders: On all 48 inputs and 12 VCAs, supporting remote machine starts and broadcast workflows.
- Broadcast-Ready: Designed for live broadcast environments with comprehensive returns, comms, and effects/mic routing.
