The Yamaha MSP5 STUDIO delivers outstanding monitoring precision in a compact form factor — ideal for smaller project studios and DAW-based production. Sharing the same advanced materials and design technology as the MSP7 STUDIO, it offers flat frequency response out to 40kHz, making it equally capable for mastering at high sample and bit rates.
Drivers & Dispersion
A 5" cone woofer (40W) and 1" titanium-dome tweeter (27W) feature advanced magnetic structures for exceptionally low distortion. The tweeter's unique waveguide horn delivers broad, uniform 120° high-frequency dispersion for consistent balance regardless of listening position. A low-diffraction rounded baffle ensures smooth, uniform dispersion across the full frequency range.
Connectivity & Placement
Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4" jack inputs suit professional and project studio environments alike. Full magnetic shielding allows safe placement near audio, video, and computer equipment. Four-position low and three-position high trim switches optimise the response for a wide range of acoustic environments.
