The DiGiCo SD9 brings Stealth Digital Processing and floating-point Super FPGA technology to a compact, lightweight console that excels on the road, in theatre, conference centres, and houses of worship. Fully integrated and built for DiGiCo's renowned workflow, it delivers extraordinary high-end performance without compromise.
Work Surface
24 touch-sensitive motorised faders, quick-access function buttons, a 15" high-resolution backlit TFT LCD touchscreen, dedicated multi-function control knobs, and electronic labelling combine for fast, intuitive operation at every show.
Processing Power
96 channels at 48kHz/96kHz with full processing on every channel — channel delay, hi/lo-pass filters at 24dB/octave, four-band parametric EQ with band curve selection, dual insert points, DYN1 (compressor, de-esser, or multiband compressor), and DYN2 (gate, compressor, or ducker). Also onboard: 155 Dynamic EQ processors, 155 Multiband Compressors, and 155 DiGiTuBes — all assignable to any input or output channel.
Busses & Master Section
48 fully assignable group or auxiliary busses, a 12×8 output matrix (in addition to, not at the expense of, aux or group busses), 16 gangable 32-band graphic EQs, 12 stereo effects from a palette of 33, 12 VCA control groups, dual solo busses, and snapshot-based scene recall.
I/O & Expansion
Local I/O includes 8 mic inputs, 8 line outs, 4 mono AES/EBU, one MADI port, and two dedicated D-Rack ports. Every SD9 ships with a D-Rack (32 inputs, 8 outputs expandable to 16). A second D-Rack adds a total of 72 mic inputs. Optional factory-fit Optocore provides redundant loop connectivity to all DiGiCo racks and consoles. An optional SoundGrid module delivers 32 fully integrated low-latency Waves stereo MultiRacks.
