The GLP impression S500 Series advances the trusted impression S350 platform with a powerful 500W LED engine, delivering around 30% more output. Alongside the increase in performance, the optics, software, connections, and control systems have all been upgraded to the latest technology. Retaining the same compact size as the S350 and GLP’s signature baseless design, the S500 Wash integrates easily into a wide range of professional applications.
The impression S500 Wash HC combines exceptional light quality with intelligent functionality and quiet operation, building on the strengths of the S350. Its white LED engine produces 26,000 lumens at a native 6,000 K, delivering a highly balanced spectrum with CRI and TLCI values above 95. This ensures natural, accurate colour reproduction—particularly for skin tones—with a total luminous output of 13,100 lumens.
A 185 mm Fresnel lens provides smooth, homogeneous illumination across a wide zoom range from a tight 7° beam to a broad 65° field angle. The extensive feature set includes CMY colour mixing, an advanced CTC colour temperature control system, a colour wheel with six full colours and four colour correction filters, a motorized iris, and a precise four-blade framing system with blade tilt and framing rotation. Fast, accurate movement is achieved through motorized 540°/565° pan and 256° tilt.
Housed in a compact IP20 enclosure and weighing just 26.6 kg (58.6 lbs), the impression S500 Wash supports low-noise operation, making it ideal for noise-sensitive environments such as television studios, theatres, and musical productions. Developed on the proven S350 platform, the S500 Series offers strong performance at an attractive price point, ensuring a fast return on investment.
