The K1-SB is the ideal subwoofer companion for the K1 or K2 line source systems, designed to extend low-end performance and boost sub-bass impact. With a frequency response reaching down to 30 Hz, it enhances both bass contour and throw distance, making it perfect for large-scale events where power and precision are key.
Housed in a durable, bass-reflex enclosure made from premium Baltic birch plywood, the K1-SB features; two 15” high-performance transducers, advanced vent design for laminar airflow minimising turbulence and noise, and high sensitivity and reduced distortion for tight, musical bass response.
The result? Deep, accurate bass with excellent punch and minimal thermal compression—even at the highest output levels.
The K1-SB includes a fully integrated 4-point rigging system, allowing it to be flown as a standalone subwoofer array or positioned above K1, K2, or KARA line arrays. This flexibility makes it a go-to choice for touring sound engineers and production companies alike.
Powered exclusively by the L-Acoustics LA8 amplified controller, the K1-SB benefits from dedicated presets for CONTOUR and THROW configurations, delivering optimal system linearisation, protection, and low-frequency performance in any setup.
