The SB18 is a versatile subwoofer designed to enhance L-Acoustics line source and coaxial systems, extending the operating range down to 32 Hz.
Compact and Flexible Design.
Constructed from premium Baltic birch plywood, the SB18 features a compact cabinet with an integrated pole-mount socket, making it ideal for pairing with one XT or two KIVA enclosures. Its compact size and built-in rigging system make it perfect for flown configurations with KARA or ground-stacked setups.
Installation Options.
For fixed installations, the SB18 is available in specific versions: SB18i, SB18iW (white finish), and SB18iRAL (custom RAL colours), ensuring it blends seamlessly into any venue design.
High-Performance Build.
At its core, the SB18 features an 18" transducer housed in a dual bass-reflex tuned enclosure for exceptional low-frequency performance. Controlled by LA4 or LA8 amplified controllers (via the LA-RAK platform), it offers advanced DSP filtering, system EQ, and dual thermal and over-excursion protection to ensure reliable performance.
Versatile Deployment.
The SB18 supports both standard and cardioid configurations with dedicated presets, delivering powerful, precise bass for live sound, events, or installations.
