The Shure UA834 In-Line Antenna Amplifier is designed for use with Shure UR4 and ULX wireless microphone receivers, as well as the UA845UWB and UA844+ antenna distribution systems. It supports desk, wall, or microphone-stand mounting, giving you flexible installation options for a wide range of setups.
A two-position gain switch allows you to optimise performance based on cable length—use 6 dB gain for coaxial runs under 7.5 m (25 ft) and 12 dB for longer cable distances to maintain signal integrity. The UA834 is available in multiple frequency bands and replaces the previous UA830 model.
Compatible with Shure BLX4R, SLX4, QLX-D, ULX-D, UR4 and AXT400 receivers, as well as the UA844+ and UA845UWB antenna distribution systems, the UA834 operates across 470–952 MHz.
This low-noise VHF/UHF in-line amplifier is ideal for remote antenna mounting in larger installations. It receives power directly through its output port from a Shure receiver, UABIAST, or compatible distribution amplifier. When antennas are positioned remotely, the UA834 boosts incoming RF signals to compensate for coaxial cable loss, ensuring reliable wireless performance. A selectable gain switch allows precise adjustment for different cable lengths.
