Designed, engineered and manufactured in Vienna, the Austrian Audio CC8 is a true small-diaphragm condenser microphone built around a handcrafted capsule for accurate, natural sound reproduction.
With a maximum SPL of 156 dB and a low self-noise of just 16 dB(A), the CC8 offers an exceptional dynamic range, making it ideal for high-SPL stage applications such as cymbals and drum overheads, while remaining equally well suited to strings, acoustic instruments, classical ensembles and choirs.
Its rugged construction and linear frequency response deliver a clean, open sound with smooth, detailed high frequencies, making the CC8 a versatile choice for live performance, broadcast and studio recording.
