The Austrian Audio OD5 is an active dynamic instrument microphone designed for accurate, reliable capture across a wide range of live and studio applications.
Handcrafted in Vienna and built to the highest quality standards, the OD5 features Austrian Audio’s distinctive 220° swivel joint, allowing fast and precise positioning without the need to adjust the microphone stand. This makes it easy to align the microphone exactly to the sound source or tailor placement to personal tonal preferences.
The OD5 uses an active dynamic circuit, derived from the OD505 vocal microphone, ensuring consistent signal quality even over long cable runs. This design also enables the inclusion of an effective high-pass filter for improved low-frequency control.
Highly versatile, the OD5 is ideal for drums, guitar amplifiers and wind instruments, with an optional dedicated drum mount available for flexible stage and studio setups. Handmade in Vienna, Austria.
